  COULD YOU HANDLE LIFE ALONE?

  if you mate died suddenly or left you, could you handle life alone?

  would you remain single or get married again?

  i ask this because my brother in law's witness mom just died recently, and we're wondering how his dad is going to handle life alone now.

  if you are honest with one elder, but wont talk about any of your questions with a second elder, you'll be fine. if you are honest to two or more of them, your ass is toast. which might be fine too.

  i've been working preeetty hard today and haven't had a bite to eat the whole day & i still have an hour to go before i go home.. right now i'd love some cheese cake or anything home made.. oooh my tummy is growling..

  ok, so i haven't been posting a lot lately.

  been doing alot of thinking, soul searching, etc.

  also been busy with work, making money, hanging with my new girlfriend, and just enjoying my first christmas season.. .

  BA, although you might think that a 6th finger per hand is irreducible, it's still a mutation. not necessarily one that is of benefit in our times, but in our times we pretty much control evolution.

  you can't reduce evolution to natural selection, which indeed acts as a sieve. but there's also a great deal of mutation, which indeed creates new things.

  the european commission has just announced an agreement whereby english will be the official language of the european union rather than german, which was the other possibility.. .

  as part of the negotiations, the british government conceded that english spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as "euro-english".

  in the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c".

  hmmm, a baboon is not exactly an ape, is it? not sure if you may use that one...
  
  the way you formulate it, it reads like if a scientific theory has got nothing to do with a fact, when they actually are completely linked together. in science there is no theory without facts. a theory can only be established using intensive tests and observation. you still refer to "scientific theory" as if it were hypothesis...

  i have 2 hours left and i guess i'll have a cinammon roll with either hot chocolate or mold wine when i'm at home... just had coffee, so nothing's growling at the moment ;)
